about thermique

Thermique Technologies was established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Engineered Glass Products (EGP), to create total solutions using heated-glass technology. The company actively achieves its mission by rethinking products that can benefit from heated-glass technology and by providing the information necessary in bringing heated glass innovation to broader markets.

Today, Thermique is pioneering the concept of heated-glass technology by utilizing the properties of glass. In marrying inertness, invisibility, barrier properties and strength, Thermique has created a uniform warming surface with heat transfer characteristics that imbue comfort and beauty safely and efficiently. The results are modern, cutting-edge glass innovations that exemplify beauty, functionality and reliability.

While EGP developed the fundamental technology of heating glass and has patented many of the enabling technologies, Thermique has now been entrusted to commercialize this technology. Thermique is striving to do this by utilizing the fundamental properties of glass: inertness, invisibility, barrier properties, strength, and the ability to be colored, textured and formed. Then we marry these properties with the benefits of providing a safe, uniform heating surface with comfort and heat transfer characteristics to create cutting-edge ideas of beauty, functionality and reliability.

Thermique’s heated-glass technology has revolutionized the use of glass in diverse, exciting applications. In luxury bath and window markets, heated glass is used to create products that enhance life, beauty and convenience. Thermique’s heated-glass towel warmer has received widespread acclaim and numerous awards for its elegant design and novel functionality, and in residential and commercial settings, windows utilizing Thermique’s heated-glass technology are setting the benchmark for superior condensation control, comfort and energy efficiency.

In a constant endeavor to solve creative challenges, Thermique assists engineers, product developers and manufacturers by offering heated glass solutions, and the company is currently exploring several new products for transportation, medical and hospitality applications.
